Job Description:
Our Ottawa based client is looking for a Transformation Architect Level 2 for a contract position. Contract period running from date of award to March 31st, 2010 with an additional optional 9 month period.

All candidates must possess secret clearance.

Scope of Work:
The purpose of this activity is to define what AgPal would contain in its initial release (targeted for 6-8 months), and then a subsequent release (within 18 months).
The key tasks will include:
• Documentation review
• Consultations with key AAFC business and technical stakeholders to determine:
o Key outcomes for AAFC and partners
o Nature and extent of AAFC and partner involvement in AgPal development
o High-level survey of related initiatives, content holdings, applications, and impact
o Timelines
o Constraints

The ideal candidate will have::
  • experience of over ten (10) years as a Business Transformation Architect, or 5+ years of experience with a recognized professional certification and competency
  • experience as a Business Transformation Architect
  • two (2) Client Project references which demonstrate experience as a Business Transformation Architect
  • experience involving website information architecture projects for GoC entities over the past five (5) years.
  • web-related business transformation architecture work experience for GoC entities over the past five (5) years
  • experience in: producing web guidance documents (such as information architectures, visual design/branding, technology recommendations, or operational guidance including records of decisions) for GoC entities over the past five (5) years.
  • experience in performing Web transformation-related assignments for GOC science-based entities over the past five (5) years.
